Where to Stay During the WSOP

Where to Stay During the WSOP

There are a lot of things that Vegas has no shortage of: Elvis impersonators, buffets, and people willing to trade their physical affection for a few hundred dollars seems to top the list. Normally there also seems to be an endless supply of hotel rooms in this particular city. With this said, rooms can get a little more scarce during the World Series of Poker months so it is always good for those registering for World Series of Poker events to know where they can get good accommodations.  Seeing as a lot of players will be investing the bulk of their vacation money into WSOP buy ins economy is generally on the mind of people heading to Vegas for this event. Harrah's has decided to have mercy on them by making lodging affordable.  Players who are pre-registering can stay at Bally's, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Paris, and the Rio for rates as low as $59/night. Of course if you manage to win or finish somewhere in the money nobody will begrudge you for changing hotels.  The benefit of the hotels mentioned above is that they are all within a reasonable cab drive of the event. A lot of people may be lured to hotels farther away by great rates, but you will be giving up your savings with the surprisingly steep cab fare.  Between higher flight fees, higher food cost, and a bunch of other expenses that have popped up, you deserve to save some money on a hotel room.
