WSOP Academy Moves to Atlantic City

Fancy playing in a World Series of Poker event but worried your skills are not up to the task? Some old school poker pros would say that describes most of the dead money coming into these events, but others are taking a bit more of a constructive approach and actually setting out to teach newcomers a thing or two about cashing in and winning a WSOP event. Enter the WSOP Academy.  This business puts poker players in front of poker champions who are tasked with teaching them the ins and outs of a World Series of Poker event. A relatively new business, the WSOP Academy has already had some degree of success, with instructors like Howard "The Professor" Lederer and his sister, Annie Duke, running event in Las Vegas prior to the WSOP. Some courses are very specific, such as a course just on the H.O.R.S.E. tourney. Now the WSOP Academy is offering their skills to help those interested in a Circuit event, namely the one coming up at the end of the year in Atlantic City.  The WSOPA will be at Harrah's Atlantic City in the first few days of December to instruct, and they have a former world champion on the roster. Greg "Fossilman" Raymer will be leading the charge and have a little help from the FBI to keep order. Former FBI profiler Joe Navarro will be there as well, teaching the skills on reading people that have helped poker pros get to the top of their game.  This WSOP Academy event will take place on December 1 and 2 and it costs $1,699 to participate.
