Last year it was Iranian born, Californian proFarzad Bonyadi who claimed the World Series of Poker braclet.  This year the first day was a grueling one, wrapping up only after around 13 hours of play. Due to the late night (or early morning) ending, the next day's play was pushed back to 3, and the cards were in the air shortly after that. Day two saw plenty of action, with amatures and pros getting the axe left and right. Early standout was Mike Matusow. Some of the pros who did not, but came close, include Sam Grizzle (also distinguished as the only poker pro to take a poke at Phil Hellmuth) and young gun superstar Joe Cassidy.  At the end of the day nine were left, and they started day three this way:Player, LocationChip Count  Seat #Anthony Reategui, Chandler, AZ959,0005Terrence Chan, Vancouver, BC494,0008Max Pescatori, Milan, Italy464,0001Justin Pechie, Thompson, CT357,0002Mike Matusow, Las Vegas, NV335,0004Corey Cheresnick, Coral Springs, FL  249,0007Michael Lesle, Lake Elsinore, CA146,0009Tri Ma, Houston, TX117,0003Matt Heintschel, Escondido116,0006  Then it was down to Anthony Reategui and Max Pescatori. In the end it was a lucky Nine on the river that completed Pescatori's Jack-High straight, giving him the win. The money both players won there on July 9th pushed them over the million dollar mark in tournament poker winnings!
