Because it only runs for two days the final day does not start off with 9 players for the final table, but, in this case, 26.  Last year it was David Chiu who outlasted the 224 other players to capture the $347,410 and his fourth WSOP bracelet. This year 265 players paid their five grand to take a shot at a first prize of $398,560, the king's share of the $1,245,000 prize pool.  Every other table seemed to be rife with pros, and the list of "named" players was long. Phil Ivey, Sean Sheikan, Chris Ferguson, Andy Bloch, Tony G, Harry Demetriou, Karina Jett, Jeffrey Lisandro and Mike Caro, and even David Chiu was back to try for a second win.  At the end of the day 26 players remained to fight it out until there was a winner. Gavin Smith, Sammy Farha, Andrew Black and Phil Ivey, among others, hung in there. Chris Ferguson finished in 17th place, Mike Caro managed 14th, and Jeff Freedman just missed the final table in 10th.  The final nine players, emerging before the dinner break, and their chip counts:Player, LocationChip CountMike Wattel, Phoenix, AZ312,000Sammy Farha, Houston, TX255,000Kirill Gerasimov, Moscow, Russia  186,000Phil Ivey, Las Vegas, NV174,000Jim Ferrel, Phoenix, AZ143,000Ryan Hughes, Phoenix, AZ106,000Mike Henrich62,000Brian Nadell, Las Vegas, NV47,000Jeff King, Colchester, CT40,000  After a battle that lasted far into the night, Sammy Farha won the WSOP Bracelet and $398,560 as well.
