For them he put together the World Series of Poker, but even before that monumental event Binion was paying attention to the needs of his customers. Following the same mind set Binion created the "Casino Employee" event at the WSOP as a way of recognizing the hard work of the casino workers in Vegas. This year's Event 1 Casino Employee tournament has ended, and it is Chris Gros who took the first place finish with a $127,616 prize.  He was up against Bryan Devonshire in a heads-up match for the final two spots when Bryan raised the pot, making it $30,000 to go. Chris called and when the flop came 3 8 3 rainbow checked. After Bryan made a look up bet Chris check raised, prompting Bryan to move all in, which Chris called. What a blow for Bryan, who was holding suited Ace King - Chris had a little connector of 4 and 3, giving him trips which held up for the win.
