Usually when an event involves a guy named Spiegelberg and someone else is referred to as "Fossilman" the situation usually includes a Tyrannosaurus Rex who treats vacationers like popcorn shrimp, Velociraptors making a bid for a spot as the planet's dominant bi-ped, and Jeff Goldblum wondering how many of these movies he has to make before his career is out of the entertainment commode. Of course Event 20 didn't involve dinosaurs, movie makers, and despite the fact that Greg "Fossilman" Raymer is always dangerous he probably won't take a bite out of the chip leader's upper thigh. Much like the dinosaur infested island though, this event was no walk in the park. When the final table was set, there was no single player with a dominant stack. In fact, for the most part, this was a battle of players with medium to small stacks. This created a dynamic where players were about as aggressive as one of those hives of Africanized bees that has somehow gotten into a vat of PCP. This is often the case when players fear both their opponents and the blinds taking big bites out of their chip stacks. The highest profile player, Greg Raymer, was knocked out of the tournament in fourth place, and the contest for the bracelet came down to Doug Carli, Min Lee and Ryan Hughs. When it came to heads up between Lee and Hughes, Lee had amassed 360,000 in chips while Hughes was playing with over one million. Min played valiantly, but Ryan's advantage in chips was just too much for the Asian player to overcome. After some spirited play in a very entertaining head to head encounter, it took Ryan Hughs only a dozen hands to break Min and become the $2,000 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better event champion and bracelet winner.PlacePlayerPrize1Ryan Hughes$176,3582Min Woo (Brandon) Lee$97,4613Doug (Rico) Carli$61,8804Greg (Fossilman) Raymer$41,4605Stephen Graboski$32,1786Jim Weir$24,4437Ron Ware$18,8738Adam Spiegelberg$13,9239Donald Webb$9,591
