Over a hundred people hung around the poker tables at the World Series of Poker Lake Tahoe Circuit Event's $10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em main event at Harveys Resort and Casino, watching as Northern Nevadas top players, Tony Le of Reno, who started the day as the overall chip leader, Carson City's Robert Glenn and Genoa's Tony Prestigiacomo were knocked out early on.



Jeff Lisandro from Salerno, Italy, came into the final table with an overall chip lead that kept him afloat to win the WSOP Lake Tahoe Circuit Event No Limit Texas Hold'em championship on May 11th at Harveys Resort and Casino.



Phil Ivey, who started as 3rd overall chip leader, finished second. Ivey has made it to the final table of the WPT World Poker Challenge in Reno (finishing 3rd) and the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas (finishing 6th), and the last two World Series of Poker Circuit Championships at the Rio in Vegas (finishing 8th).



The top six were Jeffrey Lisandro in 1st place with $542,360; Phil Ivey in 2nd place with $299,360; James Van Alstyne of Las Vegas in 3rd place with $164,350; Jonathan Shecter of Las Vegas in 4th place with $131,480; Tommy Reed of Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 5th place with $98,610; and Salim Batshon of Foster City, California in 6th place with $82,175.
