The 2010 Poker After Dark schedule has been released and there will be some fantastic match-ups to be witnessed during the next few months. Episodes start this week and carry through until May, with only a two-week break during the Winter Olympics in February.
The weeks of January 18 and 25 will air encore presentations of the Top Guns Cash Game – Part I and II. The two installments will see Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Eli Elezra, Ilari Sahamies and Phil Ivey in a match that was so exciting they had to allow two weeks to show all the action.
The week of February 1 is another encore presentation, this time of the Magnificent Six: Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu. The following week is a new episode that pits celebrities and their poker pro mentors against one another. The players are: Barry Greenstein, Jason Alexander, Phil Gordon, Orel Hershiser, Don Cheadle and Gavin Smith.
Following the Olympics, two weeks of Poker After Dark rebroadcasts will air, starting with Commentators the week of March 1 and Nicknames the week of March 8. The commentators are: Howard Lederer, Gabe Kaplan, Joe Sebok, Ali Nejad, Mark Gregorich and Kara Scott. The Nicknames are: Annette Obrestad, Mike Matusow, Antonio Edfandiari, Erick Lindgren, Phil Laak and Phil Hellmuth.
The week of March 15 will 22 will see the airing of two new Poker After Dark episodes called Cash Game 50K – Part I and II. These episodes will star: Chris Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, Brandon Adams, Todd Brunson and Mike Matusow.
After a couple of weeks of encore presentations, Poker After Dark is new again the weeks of April 19 and 26. The first episode is called My Favourite Pro and stars Craig Ivey, James Ashby, Steve Bartlett, Phil Hellmuth, Jens Voertmann and Chris Ferguson. The second episode is called He Said, She Said and stars Reica Scoenberg, Jean-Robert Bellande, David Grey, Karina Jett, Mike Matusow and Annie Duke.
The 2010 season of Poker After Dark will wrap up in the middle of May after two weeks of rebroadcast episodes of the Cash Game 50K that first aired back in March. It looks like it will be an exciting and informative season, so tune in.
