Everest Poker Avalanche Final

Everest Poker Avalanche Final

It was a long time coming. Online poker room Everest Poker had been teasing and enticing for nine long months about their Everest Poker Avalanche event, and they wouldn't even tell the players where the final event was to take place. It turns out it wasn't going to happen just in one place, but in a traveling tournament aboard a Costa Cruise ship in the Mediterranean.

Finally the game was held to determine who the lucky ten players who got to go to the ship would be, and the Everest Poker Avalanche live finale was played out. The ten players, who were from six separate countries, got a trip of a life time and a shot at a huge prize pool to boot.

There were two Germans in the heads up battle as Frank Stumpf fought with Matthias Lotze to see who would take the title and the top prize of more than two hundred thousand dollars.

  Here are the final standings.
