Part of the world famous World Poker Tour, the World Poker Open is held at the Gold Strike Hotel Casino in Robinsonville, MS, and will kick off the new year as part of the Season Six WPT on January 3rd, and run through January 23rd.
Eighteen events ranging from a $300 No Limit Holdem event to the main event are all part of the World Poker Open. This WPT event is so popular that many online poker rooms are offering qualifiers to include the buy in to the main event and airfare and accommodations. The winner of the World Poker Open gets an entry into the WPT season championship as well as the first place cash.
