European Poker Tour Season 3 - Warsaw

  A new addition to the third season of the popular poker series, the European Poker Tour, is the Polish Open, to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Warsaw, Poland. The event, which will run from March 14th to March 17th, 2007, has a buy in of 15,000 Polish Zlotych (PLN), or approximately €4,000, and is one of the first major poker tournaments to be held in that country.  The dates of the event are as follows:March 14, 2pm - EPT Main Event Day 1AMarch 15, 2pm - EPT Main Event Day 1BMarch 16, Time to be determined - EPT Main Event Day 2March 17, Time to be determined - EPT Main Event Final Table  This event, taking place in the capital city of Poland, replaces the French Open event recently cancelled.  Players planning their budget should be aware that the four-day Food & Beverage package is compulsory for EPT players. This costs 800 Zloty, which makes the tournament registration fee a total of 15,800 PLN. Included in the package is a buffet served in the five star Q-Club hotel restaurant as well as coffee, soft drinks, and tea every day.  While the legal gambling age is 18, players will need to comply with Polish Gaming Law which states that everyone entering the casino area must be registered and may be required to show a passport.
