The name is pretty accurate the Caribbean Poker Adventure plays in the Caribbean, it is a poker tournament, and as anyone who has spent a week in the Caribbean can tell you, it is always an adventure. This year a little something special happened, as the Caribbean became part of Europe - or at least, part of the European Poker Tour.
The EPT Season Four has added a lot of new events, but likely none of them makes you scratch your head more than this. Despite the Caribbean not being part of the European Union, one great thing comes of the Caribbean Poker Adventure's inclusion to the EPT family - by winning this event, you snag a seat to the EPT Grand Finale taking place in Monte Carlo!
Taking pace at the Atlantis Resort & Casino, the Caribbean Poker Adventure will start on January 5th and run through January 10th, 2008. The Atlantis is an adventure all by itself. Coming along with the normal perks of a Caribbean resort, the Atlantis goes beyond parasailing and snorkeling. There is a water park right on property, and you will find yourself walking amidst pools of mantas and other exotic sea life. Take a slide down a water pipe right alongside the creatures, and investigate the new Lost Atlantis features.
And, of course, play as much poker as you can. Look for many online poker rooms to be offering super satellites and qualifiers to this event as it is a very hot tourney.
