Today’s poker tip is about finances. Back in the days when Vikings used to float around the oceans of Europe and pick fights with total strangers, they had groups of warriors called Berserkers. These guys were large, heavily armored, men with serious anger issues. For the most part, once they got themselves into a good froth during a battle, they seemed impervious to pain, compassion, reason, logic, and hygiene. They had lots of energy and would just keep coming at you with a sword or ax until you were gone or they were dispatched to an afterlife that was probably rather disappointing. Believe it or not, this all went on before the invention of Crystal Meth. Unfortunately, the Berserker is not quite dead; they just have credit cards now, and play Texas Hold'em online or in a casino.
Poker is great, it is a sport we all love, and just like the Berserkers of old, a lot of players can get themselves in a real lather when they play, and are suddenly immune to reason, logic, or the concept of fiscal responsibility.
