Loose aggression is generally considered a poor way to play Holdem. It's pretty close to playing like a maniac, and is also a style that can easily be put on tilt. Loose aggressive players may even be percieved as players on tilt. There's a reason why loose aggression is often spoken about in a poor light, and it's not because it is necessarily a bad style. Loose aggression is a risky style, and because of that, beginner players are told that it is bad. Risky playstyles invariably hurt inexperienced players. If you're experienced, however, you might want to try a loose aggressive style from time to time. It's a great way to open games with a bunch of aggressive power plays, establishing yourself as a dominator at the table. Loose aggression is all about seeing as many flops as possible. To be successful, you also need to steal a lot of pots on the flop and preflop. In no limit games, it's all about shocking the other players with ridiculously oversized bets, and playing with the confidence of a madman. Playing loose-aggressive early on in a ring game can fill your stacks and make you dominant in later stages.
