Pacific Poker School

One of the first things that a visitor is greeted with when visiting the part of Pacific Poker that talks about their Poker School is a Toucan reciting some of the more famous lines from Robert De Niro's character in the film "Taxi Driver". Usually when most people are seeing colorful birds asking, "Are you talking to me" this is the result of some of the less accredited lessons that one learns at a school like Arizona State or Michigan State University. In this case it is just the introduction to a better than average online poker school.

The virtual classroom that is the Pacific Poker School is an artful melding of words and animation that brings the concepts of good poker play to life for the student. Not only are the tips helpful and presented in a manner that ensures that they are intellectually accessible to a broad range of users, but they don't just explain something and assume the knowledge has sunk in. They challenge the student with the occasional pop quiz.

They added a wrinkle that a lot of sites tend to ignore. Not only do they have lessons for the person who is starting from zero in terms of poker knowledge, but they also remembered that experienced players like to participate in a form of a continuing education as well. Pacific Poker has made sure to include lessons for experienced players. These instructions have the same quality in presentation that was built into the tutorials geared towards the fish.

Any player who thinks they know enough about the game to be above the need to learn anything more is the type of player who probably thinks that any loss is the result of a punishment from God instead of perhaps a flaw in strategy. In other words, all players can benefit from tips on the game. For a lot of these players, the Pacific Poker School can be a valuable tool in the never ending pursuit of knowledge in the game of poker.
