    Conventional wisdom says that any site that calls itself the Purple Lounge and has a look that vaguely reminds one of a set from the film "Purple Rain" doesn't sound like something that would appeal to the general public. Of course conventional wisdom had a few things to say about the possibility of William Hung having a music career that referenced snowballs and hell: look how that turned out.

    In truth this is a rather fun site. Not only does it have all the sort of games that one would expect from top online poker site, but it has a sidebar lounge that has some rather fun games that can be a nice break from the game of poker. Overall this site is a welcome addition to the online world and one of the better places to play.

    Software and Design: 

    If you are Prince, this place has exactly the sort of look that give you goose bumps. In other words, they went a little over the top on the purple motif. With that said, the software and design hold up to just about any other online poker site that can be found in cyberspace. The graphics are rather good, and though there are better sites out there in terms of graphics, this one will not disappoint.
