Online poker rooms have done all they can to make the experience as comfortably convenient for their customers as possible. To their credit, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams on this front. What they have also done by creating a tool to speed play along was create an online tell that gives away a good hand. As part of the player interface there are generally a number of checkboxes that are available to the online player. The user can simply set up his next action by clicking in the checkbox, and when it is their turn to act, the program will respond to whatever command is checked off. The action is instantaneous. A lot of players tend to check in the "raise any" box if a couple of Aces have shown up as their hole cards, or they have made their hand. Pay attention to what is going on around you when other people are betting at the table. If there is an instantaneous raise, you know that an opponent has checked that particular box. This is a strong hint that they are sitting on a fairly powerful hand. You can decide what to do based on the cards you are currently holding, but you can make your move with the full knowledge that your fast betting opponent probably has the best hand at the table.
