Leaning

Leaning

It's always good to get other players on tilt. When someone is on tilt, they really lose control of their actions, often acting foolishly and wildly. If they were boxing, they'd be flailing about like two elementary schoolers meeting at the bike racks. Players on tilt are a sad sight to see, until you start taking their money hand over fist.

There's a lot of ways you can try to push a player to tilt, and they can all be collectively called, leaning. It's like leaning against a vending machine, trying to get it to tilt over and give you that Snickers bar you paid for but that got stuck in the screw thingy. You apply pressure until your opponent tilts over.

The easiest way to apply this pressure is with betting. Raise them when they'd least like. Call them down when they want the pot to get fatter. Counter each of their moves with the exact opposite of what they would like to happen and watch the frustration build to a boil.

Your other option is to manipulate the table against them. Instead of betting against them yourself, put the other players in position to frustrate their moves. This has the added benefit of directing their ire away from you.

Lean on your opponents and force them to tilt.
