The WPT Asks, "Whose Your Daddy?"


  Chances are Paris Hilton, Morgan Fairchild, and Jennifer Tilly have all had the phrase "whose your daddy?" spoken in their general vicinity more then once. Something about the public face that those three put forward would make any reasonable person believe that dozens of oysters, a riding crop, shackles, and several gallons of Bactine were also part of the equation. Of course those encounters would generally fall under the heading of "private moments". This means that it won't be long until the video from these sessions surface somewhere on the internet. Of course those particular three words don't always accompany morally sketchy behavior. In the case of the World Poker Tour, "Whose Your Daddy?" means they have a new sponsor.



  Who's Your Daddy, Inc proudly announced that it is the official drink sponsor to the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational to be held March 1-3, 2008 at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. This event will include a number of big names from the entertainment world including Vince Vaughn, Ben Affleck, Paris Hilton, Jason Alexander, Jennifer Tilly, James Woods, Don Cheadle, Pete Sampras, Hank Azaria, Shanna Moakler, Mekhi Phifer and Morgan Fairchild.



  Of course if this was just a Hollywood thing, it would be a bunch of people sitting around playing some bad poker and bitterly hoping their opponent's botox supply dries up. So to make things interesting a number of high profile poker players have been added to the mix. Among those who will be participating are Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, and Phil Ivey. All of them will be competing for a $100,000 dollar top prize and a free pass to the WPT's Championship.



  This tournament will be airing on The Game Show Network (GSN) on on July 21, 2008 at 9 pm EDT/PDT.



  This should be good a tournament to watch, but possibly a little confusing for the participants. If somebody asks Ms. Hilton who her daddy is, she will probably be a little confused. Should she break out the night vision camera, slap the taste out of their mouth, or thank them for the energy drink?
