Jennifer Leigh Goes Marilyn Monroe

Jennifer Leigh Goes Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe's first Playboy photo shoot is single handedly responsible for jump starting the Y chromosome of millions of pre-teen boys. It is also probably the contributing factor to the rise of the mid-life crisis. Even though there are those who might debate either of these points, what is true is that any guy who didn't get tingles in socially unacceptable places upon seeing Marilyn posing naked probably also considers "figure skater" as a viable career path. For those who fall into that group, there is always Clark Gable. There will never be another Marilyn, but we now have something just as good.

Anybody whose testosterone level makes them lean towards Three Stooges films, NASCAR, and professional bull riding is probably aware of Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh. On April 4th, 2008 Playboy magazine will hit the stands with the stunning Ms. Leigh as their feature model.

When a curvaceous blonde graces the pages of the world's most popular men's magazine, the comparisons between that woman and the immortal Ms. Monroe are inevitable. In the particular case of Jennifer, the association is completely appropriate. Besides the physical gifts that nature blessed them both with, like Marilyn, Jennifer's best qualities are the ones the camera can't see.

When this issue of Playboy has been relegated to history, Ms. Leigh will not disappear along with it. Besides pursuing pots and tournament titles, Jennifer will be fighting for the rights of all poker players as a driving force in the Poker Players Association. While she will not exactly be turning in her cards for the smart, yet drab suit of a Washington lobbyist, she will be spending a fair amount of time in DC. Most of her activities will include matching her keen intellect against the bevy of well coiffed politicians.

Next week LaunchPoker.com will be proud to present our interview with Jennifer. While our photos can't quite compete with what Playboy has to offer, we still think you will find it an interesting glimpse into her life.
