UBAuctions.com is a new player loyalty program that is the brainchild of the folks at Ultimate Bet Poker. Real money players are automatically enrolled in UB's RAI$E program. The RAI$E program assigns each player a level based on their activity (Ultimate Member, Player, Contender, Legend and Icon) and gives them access to UBAuctions.com - an eBay style auction site.
One of the more unusual items that was being auctioned off to the highest bidder was a lesson in poker from 11 time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth. It is debatable if bidders wanted to learn to win at poker or to know how to throw a really rocking tantrum, but this was an item that was bid on aggressively by the UB faithful. In reality, if people wanted to learn how to behave badly, they could just watch a toddler at a Toys "R" Us store for free, so those who bid were likely interested in gaining poker knowledge.
Of course, if this is an example of the sort of offering that Ultimate Bet is going to be making available on their auction site, then we can be sure their other fare will be incredibly interesting. There is an entire population of men out there that are waiting with baited breath for a date with Jennifer Leigh to be auctioned off.
