Community Site Reviews: Pokah!

PokerRoom.Com has an online community built of both players on their own site as well as player from other sites who have been impressed by the socialization of the members of Pokah, the name of PokerRoom.Com's online community. Pokah has over one million registered users, with a few thousand on the site at any given time. This is a community of an online poker room and casino, so you are going to be receiving things from the site every now and then. One of the best things about the site, however, is the fact that the advertisements for the online casino and poker room are not as intrusive as those on other sites. You can enjoy your time in Pokah without being bombarded with advertisements.  One of the negative things about the forums is that they don't seem to be as well-monitored as those of other sites. The difference that makes is that you will see some more personal attacks on this site than on others, and things like that. It's not chaos or anarchy, it's just not as prim and proper as other poker communities.  Besides that, it is a nice community. The ability to add pictures to your member page lets people put a face to the name, which is nice when you want to be part of a community.
