If your name happens to be Huckleberry Seed, people will probably have made up their mind about you before you even open your mouth. Chances are they will expect that you have a rich uncle named "Jed" and refer to the swimming pool as a "cement pond". The words "World Class Poker Pro" will most likely never be immediately associated with anybody named Huckleberry. This is ironic seeing as one of the most decorated poker players in the world happens to carry that particular moniker.
Considering the success that Mr. Seed has had playing poker, he does not need any financial help from rich unles, or anyone else for that matter. In a sport where size is technically meaningless, Huck is still an intimating sight. At an astonishing 6ft 7in he towers over the table and his opponents. The scariest thing about this player is not his size - it is ability to play the game of poker.
Huck is a daredevil when it comes to a wager. For example, legend has it that he once bet Phil Hellmuth $10,000 that he could float in any body of water for 24 hours. Phil thought about this, and figured he would pay that much just to watch Huck float for a full day, so the bet was on. In the long run, Huck lost this bet, and his lack of personal buoyancy cost him. This is just one example of the type of gambler Seed is. This is precisely the reason he is so unpredictable and dangerous at the table.
Huck Seed has carried off one of the most successful assaults against his fellow pros that the industry has ever seen. His trophy case is not only filled with trophies from events all over the nation, but it also includes four World Series of Poker bracelets and a number of World Poker Tour Championships.
&nsbp; When looking at his record of victories, one would conclude that Huck is a specialist at the game of No-Limit Hold'em. The truth is that he is dangerous at just about any style of poker. He has taken WSOP bracelets playing Omaha Hi-Lo and Razz as well as claiming victory at the L.A. Poker Classic in 7-Card Stud. In other words, he is a well rounded and highly dangerous person to find sitting across the table from you. Opponents might find their day much less stressful if they just surrender their stacks to him without a fight, and retire to the bar for the evening.
