Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh

Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh

Meet Jenifer “Jennicide” Leigh - the Princess, with a passion as thick as her expertly applied dark eyeliner - for poker. Jennifer’s gift for poker was basically self-taught. Born August 10, 1983, like many among her generation - she already had sufficient computer skills and was a video game enthusiast. Tapping these skills and reading poker books that helped her learn hand histories - “Jennicide” was on her way. It took her only one year of online play before she became the highest ranked female in online tournaments.

Leigh was quickly noticed for her poker playing talent and in July 2005 she was asked to play the Poker Royale: Battle of the Ages where she conquered Dan Harrington and Miami John Cernuto in a heads up match. While most people of legal age are worried about spending too much money at happy hour - at age 21, Leigh was fully engaged in the highest stakes available online - in the 100/200 level. Her current online winnings have peaked $100,000.  Jennifer has also been in the spotlight during the WSOP Ladies Event with a team captained by Jennifer Tilly. This “Queen of Hearts” team donates a portion of their winnings to the American Heart Association to fight heart disease in women. Jennifer has been involved with the IPA Tour as well. Now Leigh continues to travel around the world to satisfy her thirst for poker but still calls Wilmington, Delaware home.  Jennifer’s life outside of poker involves clubbing with friends, time with family, and enjoying her Maltese dog “Icey”. She employs a personal trainer to maintain the figure you can check out at www.jennicide.com and she enjoys the travel involved in her poker pursuits.
