It is not likely that a large number of poker professionals can claim that they have the ability to do what Pascal Perrault says he can. He truly believes in his own ability to exert an influence on chance. Call it deep intuition or call it crazy - but Perrault insists that his extrasensory perception - or ESP - is the absolute key to his ability to determine the outcome of the game in many instances. It is his own personal way of feeling out opponents and attempting to capitalize on what he senses.
Perrault's claim may sound weird, but what is clear is that he is a solid poker player and he has lifetime earnings peaking $1,500,000 to attest to the fact. Although he is a pharmacist by trade - he is making good money playing poker and has some glowing accomplishments on his resume. He took home nearly $82,000 for his first place finish in the 2001 British Open No Limit Holdem event. A year later he had a payday of $30,086 after taking 1st place in the 2002 European Poker Classics tournament. 2005 was indeed a good year for Perrault with a first place win at the EPT Spring Poker Festival Main Event for over $241,000. Most recently Pascal took first place and $61,075 at the Irish Open in March of 2008. Perrault maintains dual households in Paris and Brazil and is the father of five sons. Poker began as a hobby for him. Now - many years later - and with a much honed knack for ESP - Perrault's hobby has turned into a profitable past-time.
