Jeff Madsen - Two WSOP Bracelets at 21

Jeff Madsen - Two WSOP Bracelets at 21

While Jamie Gold was the winner of the Main Event of the 37th annual World Series of Poker, the true Golden Boy was one Jeff Madsen, a 21 year-old film student who scripted his own success story in the world's biggest poker event.

Jeff is a UC-Santa Barbara college student who had a string of accomplishments, some of them record-breaking, at the 2006 World Series of Poker. For the third year in a row the record for the youngest WSOP bracelet winner has been broken, and it was Jeff who broke it in 2006 when he was top finisher in Event 22 at 21 years, one month, and nine days. This distinction, plus the gold bracelet and the $660,948 prize might have been enough, the Jeff continued to set records. Five days after the first bracelet, Jeff won a second bracelet in Event 30, making him the youngest player ever to win two bracelets and, as a result, the youngest player ever to reach WSOP millionaire status.  In addition to the two first-place finishes, Jeff made two other final tables, in Event 8 and Event 35, finishing third place in both. Jeff has already signed up with Full Tilt Poker to become a member of the Full Tilt Team, and has signed a contract with professional poker player agency, Poker Royalty.
