Bob Dancer: Video Poker Expert

Bob Dancer: Video Poker Expert

Bob Dancer has worn many hats in his life. From 1973 to 1991, Dancer was a professional backgammon player. He’s been a data administrator and blackjack player. What he has always been though is a die-hard gambler. Add video poker entrepreneur and millionaire and you’ve nearly completed his resume.  Maybe it was his persistence - but when backgammon wasn’t quite paying the mounting bills and he was laid off from the data administrator position - Dancer started frequenting those little known video poker games which were still small-stakes pastimes in the early 1990's.  He spent years growing a bankroll that amounted to about $6,000 dollars when he unleashed himself onto the Vegas casino scene in 1993. Dancer and his wife Shirley were regular fixtures at the slots. Dancer’s big break finally came when a six-month streak of luck left him over a million dollars richer - all from his sheer determination to dominate and win at video poker.  Dancer’s reputation has morphed into that of the best video poker player ever – and he’s making the most of it. Now Dancer has set his sights on teaching others the secrets of his success. He writes for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Strictly Slots, and other casino publications. He hosts live video poker strategy lessons that regularly sell-out. Bob is a co-owner in a small direct consulting firm that services the gaming industry, and he has authored Million Dollar Video Poker - a paperback documenting his rise to video poker mastery.
