Hank Azaria

Hank Azaria

Hank is one of the more visible celebrities who enjoys poker, even though most people only know him by the voices he provides on The Simpsons, the longest-running animated series in the history of television. Azaria recently had his assistant send out a blanket e-mail invitation to his regular Thursday night poker party that read: "I have seven spots for poker on Thursday night at Hank Azaria's place in SoHo. The game is no limit, $500 buy-in. I will happily reserve spots for the first seven people who get back to me. The game will start around 8:30." So if you live in NYC and have the bank roll, at least you know where to find a good game. Hank has appeared on Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown, where co-host Phil Gordon described him as "by far one of our best players".

Besides providing the voices of bar-owner Moe Szyslak, Quickie Mart employee Apu, mad scientist Professor Frink, and Police Chief Wiggum on The Simpsons for the better part of 20 years, and starring in the cable series Huff, Azaria also had re-occurring roles on the hit sitcoms series Friends and Mad About You. His other television appearances include Family Ties, Growing Pains, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Tales From The Crypt, Drawn Together, Unscripted, and Futurama.  His movie credits include such films as Pretty Woman (1990), Quiz Show (1994), The Birdcage (1996), Godzilla (1998), Mystery Men (1999), America's Sweethearts (2001), Along Came Polly (2004), and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004). He is also the ex-husband of acclaimed actress Helen Hunt.
