Glenn Morshower: Spied Playing Poker

  If you have ever watched TV, chances are you have seen Glenn Morshower. Morshower has guest starred on several TV series, including The Dukes of Hazzard, Quantum Leap, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, Millennium, Babylon 5, King of the Hill, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Crossing Jordan, ER, Full House, and others. He is currently best known as secret service agent Aaron Pierce on the drama 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.

  More recently - Morshower’s television appearance was only his poker playing captured on film. Morshower participated in the three-day WPT Invitational event on March 3rd at the Commerce Casino in California. Morshower joined plenty of other Hollywood celebrities, poker stars, and amateurs in the Texas Holdem tournament for charity, cash prizes, and a WPT Champion title - with charitable proceeds dedicated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Morshower was among six remaining players at the final table - competing for the $225,000 prize.



  Born April 24, 1959 in Dallas, Texas, Morshower started his acting career at age 17 with small roles - most frequently playing secret service type or military characters. Aside from acting, Morshower is also a motivational speaker. He balances marriage, two children, acting, speaking engagements, and time for charitable poker tournaments. And although Morshower was the first player out at the Commerce event’s final table, he took home $5,000, earning sixth place.
