The 2010 Pokerstars World Championship of Online Poker came to an end this week. The winner of the main event picked up more than two million. The world's largest online poker company claimed that $2,278,097 is the biggest in an online poker tournament. Tyson 'potterpoker' Marks, a Montana poker beat a field of 2,443. As each had paid $5,200 to buy into the competition, the resultant prize pool was $12,215,000. In the end 306 entrants managed to cash. The record prize means that Marks' online and live tournament poker career earnings are now around $3.6 million.
