Casey Szaflarski is accused of being the head of video poker in Chicago that is reportedly controlled by the mob. Szaflarski owns part of Amusements Inc., a Berwyn company that distributes video gambling machines. When he appeared in court, however, he claimed he could not recall how much of the company he owns. For that matter he could not recall who owns the home he lives in or how much he is worth. Now that the state of Illinois has legalized video gaming to bolster its income Szaflarski’s role in organized video poker crime is important.
