Players hope to win when playing online poker, but a recent report shows that could be dangerous. Online poker especially was mentioned as a danger area. The research indicates that online poker players can get numbed to the effects of sizable losses if they are coming off a winning streak. The net results could be poor for the player, but if they do not keep a long term perspective they may be blind to this impact. In the end online poker players may suffer from a string of small wins rather than benefit from them.
