Queenstown Poker Players Seek Fortune

Fifteen poker players from Queenstown have qualified for a SkyCity event. The SkyCity casino in Aukland is running a poker event with a $400k prize pool. The New Zealand Poker Tour (NZPT) Queenstown 'Alpine Adventure' tournament is the event, with players coming to play from 38 countries. Those from Queenstown in New Zealand include Tim Macbeth, Richard Kit, Rewi Emmerson and Robert Wang. Mike Tyler, Oleg Vitsenko and Renae Baker will also compete. The event will be a no limit Texas Hold'em freezeout tournament, as are most events in the New Zealand Poker Tour.
