PokerStars and Americas Cup of Poker

Online poker room PokerStars is putting on a new poker series called the Americas Cup of Poker, a nation- specific poker event that encourages players to play for flag and country as well as their bank account. Players from Ecuador, Canada, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Mexico and Paraguay are encouraged to play. First place is one hundred thousand dollars. All told there will be a quarter of a million dollars in the prize pool shared out over the top eight finishers.
