Poker Room Measures Brainwaves

Online poker room PKR has decided to tap into brainwave technology to better understand player’s emotional states, and thus intends to offer a better poker room. PKR is using electroencephalography (EEG) technology to monitor players via customer experience consultancy Foviance and, according to a recent press release, has discovered that PKR provides more emotional engagement than other sites. Foviance has made the claim that most of the decision making process takes place at the subconscious level, and decision making is hugely important to poker. PKR will be studying specifics in what areas provide the most engagement in order to copy their success.
