The poker brother and sister pair Annie Duke and Howard "The Professor" Lederer helped raise money for charity this past week. The charity event was held in Washington DC to help the Ante Up for Africa charity. The charity, co founded by Duke, raises money to help the crisis in Darfur, and the charity poker event wound up raising $70,000. The top prize was a $10 000 seat at this year's World Series of Poker main event donated by Full Tilt Poker. The event was sponsored by the Poker Players Alliance, a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting the rights of poker players.
