Beth Shak, who has appeared on the popular NBC poker TV show Poker After Dark, and her husband Dan both hosted a charity event recently that raised money for children. Benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the All In for Kids charity poker tournament drew in some of the biggest names in poker, including Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Annie Duke. All together the event raised more than $800k for the hospital, and specifically for the Center for Palliative Care. This charity is a special one for Shak, ho has been working with the palliative care program for the last four years.
