Online poker has a murky legal status in the United States but at least one poker pro thinks that 2010 is the year the US says yes to the game. Mike Sexton said in an online poker article that US legal online poker is highly likely. He predicts that many individual states like California will move forward with plans to legalize and regulate online poker on a state level. If nothing comes down from the federal level to block that action, many other states will follow suit, attracted by the billions up for grabs in potential tax revenue.
