A top Greek poker pro has been charged with defrauding Allied Irish Bank (AIB) to the tune of £56m. Achilleas Kallakis is ranked 3rd among Greek players on Hendon Mob's All Time Money List. Kallakis, along with accomplice Alexander Williams, is also being charged with defrauding the Bank of Scotland for £5m in 2008. Both men, 41, were charged in a London court. Kallakis is a leading property investor in London real estate but is accused of using fraudulent means to acquire loans for investing from AIB. Both men, whose real names are Stephanos Kollakis and Martin Lewis, were previously charged, and pled guilt to, defrauding wealthy Americans.
