Poker player advocacy organization the Poker Players Alliance plans to fight a US State. The Washington State rule that online poker is a felony is the target of the PPA. The online poker ban from 2006 that makes playing online poker a Class C felony was upheld in Washington courts last month despite the best efforts of the Poker Players Alliance. The PPA says they will shift future efforts on repealing the ban rather than fighting the law in court, which is what they have been attempting to do so far.
