Poker Jackpot Hijacking

A Berlin luxury hotel was the location where a heavily armed gang rushed in and absconded with a poker tournament jackpot. While some people were injured it was from the rush to escape, according to police. Four disguised robbers armed with automatic weapons, machetes and hand grenades forced employees to give them the money. While the police did not disclose the amount of the robber, the European Poker Tour, which was hosting the game, posted the prize pool at over a million dollars.
