Poker Blocked for US State

Online poker room PokerStars has blocked one US State. For the first time residents of Washington State can not log on to play at PokerStars. While the state has long had the most strict anti online poker rules in the country, this is the first time a state has been singled out by an online poker room. Some poker rooms have blocked US players before, but not an individual state. In Washington State online poker players could be charged with a Class C felony.
