Online Poker Up at Year’s End

Online poker is a big money business, but it, like all business, is subject to fiscal ups and downs, and the month of December was an up in a down year. A 10% traffic boost for Poker Stars topped the list of modest gains compared to November, leading the pack that also included Full Tilt Poker and Party Poker. Depending on how one calculates gains Full Tilt could be considered in the lead when examining high stakes cash games, with half a dozen pots topping $500k each being played in December.
