Online Poker Site Comes to Life

Online poker site PKR, the site where players can create and run their own 3D avatars, recently hosted a live poker event in the Loose Cannon Club in London. The event drew in PKR players from many countries, including Canada, France and Scandinavia, as well as the United Kingdom. Some 150 players got to see what their opponents looked like for real for the first time, rather than whatever avatar they created. Players compared their online experience with the real, and while opinions were varied, everyone agreed the live PKR event was a hit.
