Florida basketball team member, guard Nick Calathes, was exonerated recently when head coach Bill Donovan defended him. Calathes, who had come out and admitted to playing online poker and losing some money, received a negative response, but the head coach siding with him on the issue has helped. Donovan and Athletic Director Jeremy Foley investigated the issue and found that Calathes had done nothing wrong, and Donovan expressed confusion why the media would have made Calathes online poker play an issue in the first place.
