Online poker room Party Poker was once the world’s biggest online poker room, but these days it has dropped down to fight for a secure spot among the top four in the industry. The parent company, PartyGaming, is worth less than £400 million and is actively seeking a partner or partners to help bolster its player pool, which has been dropping. Part Poker is looking eagerly towards the United States, where rumor has it the prior gambling restrictions on online poker may be lifted, which could be the shot in the arm Party Poker needs to return to its top spot.
