When infamous online poker player Durrr, real name Tom Dwan, made a million dollar challenge on a number of poker forums, it did not take long for the poker pro community to respond. The challenge, which calls for the pro to put up $500k to Dwan’s $1.5 million, will run over 50,000 hands. If the challenger is ahead by one dollar at the end, they keep Dwan’s money, and if Dwan is ahead the opposite is true. Already Phil Ivey and Barry Greenstein, long time live pros, have picked up the challenge. Ivey, in addition to his prowess in real life, is one of the most winning online poker players of 2008.
