A local television station owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has opted not to air the prime-time poker game show "Face the Ace.” The reason given is that gambling does not meet "community standards." NBC lists the show as a game show, however, and points out it could not be gambling if the players do not risk their own money. KSL Channel 5, the station in question, says that while the LDS Church owns the station church officials were not involved in the decision to block the show.
