Judged Looks at Poker Skill

In the US State of South Carolina a judge has allowed the defense team to use the argument that poker is a game of skill in a court case where five men are on trial for playing poker. The old argument of skill versus luck seems to be the mainstay of defense actions around the globe when gambling laws are applied to poker. In this case poker fans are hoping that the case will set a precedent for future cases, provided, of course, that the case is settled in favor of poker and the players in question.
