The World Poker Tour Venice is currently running with Italian player Alessio Isaia in the lead. Isaia faced plenty of stiff competition from many Italian poker players. Among them are poker pros such as Max Pescatori and Dario Minieri. Other pros included Dragan Galic, Jose "Nacho" Barbero, Arnaud Mattern, and Jeff Hakim. There were 523 entrants who paid €3,300 each to play. As Day 1 came to an end there were 219 players remaining and Alessio Isaia was among them. In the end he won the event and €380,000
